QUARTERLY ECONOMIC AND INVESTMENT UPDATE - CONFERENCE CALL

Listen to our quarterly economic and investment update, recorded on 13 April 2023, with the following contributors from London Wall Partners (“LWP”):
  • Ian McCafferty, CBE, former member of the Bank of England's Monetary Policy Committee and member of the LWP Investment Committee;
  • Stuart Fowler, Investment Director of LWP; and
  • Nick Fletcher, Senior Partner of LWP and Chairman of the Investment Committee.
In summary, Ian provided his assessment of the state of the global economy, discussing matters such as the recent concerns in the banking sector, inflation, the prospect of a recession and the key considerations for the economy in 2023.  Stuart provided an update on our investment strategy and the performance of our model portfolios and their underlying funds in the first quarter of 2023. Finally, Nick re-emphasised the importance of adopting a long-term approach and our commitment to investing alongside fund managers who share our philosophy.
