Terry Watson

Terry has 40 years of experience in the financial services industry in Europe and the US. Most recently, he was Chief Risk Officer of Allianz Asset Management, with €1.8 trillion assets under management. Prior to that, he was Global Risk Director with Barclays Global Investors, where he also had responsibility for the compliance function, and was with Bank of America, where he served in a number of risk management positions in the capital markets and asset management areas.

Terry is currently Chairman of Opportunity International, a network of microfinance organisations operating in 23 developing countries, and also of MicroEnsure Holdings LLC, an affiliate of Opportunity International providing microinsurance services in a number of developing countries in Asia and Africa.

Terry’s risk management expertise, strategic focus and significant board-level / executive management experience in the investment management sector make him a valuable addition to the Advisory Board of London Wall Partners.

Terry graduated from Jesus College, Oxford in Modern Languages.
