Stuart Fowler

Stuart has managed investments professionally for over 30 years, starting his career in the City as a UK equity fund manager at Kleinwort Benson in 1983; his subsequent experience at houses such as Morgan Grenfell, James Capel/HSBC and AXA developed his expertise across a global range of asset classes and financial instruments.

Throughout his career, he has been involved in asset allocation for UK funds such as pension funds and charities, and he has also been a rated manager of unit and investment trusts. He joined London Wall Partners in 2015 from Aerion Fund Management, the in-house fund manager for the National Grid UK Pension Scheme; as Head of Equities there, he was part of the senior team setting investment policy and he also led manager selection in a range of global equity markets.

Stuart studied Metallurgy and Materials Science at St John’s College, Cambridge, where he was also a choral scholar. Away from the office, Stuart seeks to spend as much time as family commitments permit, indulging his passion for choral music and opera.
