Ingrid is a senior investment professional with 30 years of experience in the investment / pension fund management industry, including 25 years working for Hermes, owned by the BT Pension Scheme, which is the UK's largest DB Scheme. She started her career as a graduate trainee at Phillips and Drew stockbrokers and worked there for five years as an institutional salesman, specialising in consumer sectors. Ingrid has a proven delivery record in managing funds, plus considerable success in sponsoring business change projects across the front office. She is now building a portfolio of Pension Fund Trusteeships / Investment Adviser roles and is currently a Trustee Director of the Hermes Group Pension Scheme and a Client Director of Capital Cranfield Trustees.
Having joined Hermes to manage UK active portfolios, Ingrid subsequently developed Hermes’ Index-Matching business to £27bn funds under management at its peak before its strategic outsourcing in 2007. She spent her last three years at Hermes working closely with the CIO / Head of Investment transforming Hermes Fund Managers into a series of investment boutiques, offering Commodities and Hedge Funds alongside Real Estate, Equities and Bonds. During this time she also co-ordinated the multi-mandate complex relationship with Royal Mail Pensions Trustees, Hermes’ previous co-owner and largest third-party client, as well as acting as the appointed Investment Manager for the in-house pension scheme.
Ingrid is a fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment, having previously obtained the Stock Exchange Diploma. She also has a BA (Hons) in English from Southampton University.
